By using Algo-Arena, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (TOS) govern access to and use of the Algo-Arena website, a community football scouting platform available at algo-arena.com. Any access or use of the service implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Service Description

Algo-Arena is a platform allowing football fans to vote for players at defined periods called stages, access real-time community rankings, and manage a personalized user profile with a rank system based on voting activity. The service is accessible for free. Certain features may be subject to specific conditions as part of future offers.

3. Registration and User Account

To access voting features, the user must create an account by providing a valid email address and a secure password, or by authenticating via Google. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and any activity performed from their account. Algo-Arena reserves the right to suspend or delete any account whose use violates these TOS.

4. Platform Rules of Use

The user agrees to use Algo-Arena fairly and in accordance with its purpose. It is strictly forbidden to:

  • Create multiple accounts to bypass the monthly vote limit.
  • Attempt to manipulate rankings by any automated means (bots, scripts, etc.).
  • Exploit technical flaws or attempt to access data that does not belong to you.
  • Distribute offensive, illegal, or third-party rights-infringing content via the platform.
  • Impersonate another user or a member of the Algo-Arena team.

5. Voting and Ranking System

Each user has 20 free votes per month, reset at the beginning of each cycle (stage). Three votes per position and per club are allowed per stage. Votes cast generate XP that advances the user's rank on their profile, from Scout up to ARENA MAX. Algo-Arena reserves the right to modify rank thresholds, XP multipliers, or voting limits at any time, without this constituting prejudice to the user.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Algo-Arena — name, logo, design, algorithmic data, texts — are the exclusive property of the Algo-Arena team. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited. Football player data comes from public sources and third-party partners. They are used for informational and community purposes, with no link to official football governing bodies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Algo-Arena is provided as is, without guarantee of completeness or accuracy of the presented data. The platform cannot be held liable for decisions made by clubs, agents, or any other entity based on information viewed on the site. In the event of service interruption for maintenance or technical incident, Algo-Arena commits to restoring access as soon as possible.

8. Modification of TOS

Algo-Arena reserves the right to modify these TOS at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial modification by email or via a notification on the platform. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.

9. Applicable Law and Disputes

These TOS are subject to French law. In the event of an unresolved amicable dispute, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of Algo-Arena's headquarters. For any questions or claims, contact us at contact@algo-arena.com or via our support form.
